Disney has stated that Marvel’s Avengers will be released in 3D when it hits theaters on May 4th.  This is the first we’ve heard of it, and we know it wasn’t shot with 3D cameras.  Here’s hoping the Disney doesn’t fall into the pitfall of rushed 3D work like Clash of the Titans did.  I saw Thor in both 2D and 3D and I must say that 3D didn’t really add anything.  Disney also moved  and untitled Marvel picture’s release date up from June 27 2014 to April 4, 2014.  The rumors going around is that this will be the Captain America sequel.  It looks like we’re gonna see a 3 way bout for the box office in 2012 between Avengers, Spiderman, and The Dark Knight Rises.  The Dark Knight, thankfully, isn’t in 3D yet.

We're here to sow the seeds of chaos and Eye strain.
